Axonic Alternative Income Fund is a non-diversified, closed-end interval fund organized as a Delaware statutory trust and registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940. The Fund seeks total return by investing primarily in income-producing instruments including whole loans, mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, and structured credit instruments such as CLOs and CMBS. The Fund concentrates its investments in mortgage-related assets and may use leverage through bank lines, reverse repurchase agreements, and other sources. As an interval fund, it conducts quarterly repurchase offers for between 5% and 25% of outstanding shares at NAV. The Fund is managed by Axonic Capital LLC, an SEC-registered investment adviser with approximately $7.6 billion in assets under management.
